Clinical research trials are an important step in the development and approval of new medical treatments and devices. They can also be a step in the improvement of medical treatments and devices which are already currently on the market. While the term may seem intimidating, clinical research gives volunteers access to advanced treatment options with quality standards of care upheld to the highest degree. Our Research Institute conducts both pre-market (pre-FDA approval) and post market studies which may include new drugs or new ways of administering drugs currently available. Some of our studies collect information on the safety and/or the effectiveness of a particular treatment. Others are head to head comparisons of different treatment options.

When you chose to volunteer for clinical research programs you are not only directly contributing to the advancement of medical care and treatment options, but you also give yourself or your child direct access to specialized medical care at no cost. Our institute offers several different clinical trials for both Adult and Pediatric patients. Compensation for time and travel may be available.
